A quick summary of Melbourne…it was great staying with Rory and Saah for a while, especially over Christmas…I also saw lots of other people, either their friends or people I’d met travelling, so all in all Melbourne was a bit non-stop – lots of beer, bbqs, beer and…beer…here are a few photos of some highlights…or just things that I actually had my camera with me for…!?…
Rory works in rope access (climbing up and dangling off tall buildings and things on a rope) and he had his work Christmas party in their big work warehouse…I probably don’t need to say much more – 10 or 20 rope access workers, in a warehouse with high ceilings, lots of ropes, harnesses, pulleys, petrol winches….and beer…I learnt how to clime a rope under Rory’s supervision…
There were only two rules….you must wear a helmet…and you must have a beer…
Take a massive rope swing, a harness, a petrol winch and some beer…
Whenever I feel run down, I like to rely on Mother..!!..Pete – forget about redbull – I think vodka and mother could be the way ahead..!!
I went to Adelaide to meet Sally for a couple of days…here we are at Glenelg beach…I’m the one on the left…
